Arsenal have been denied two obvious penalties in the first half with the clear one being a handball in the box by Bournemouth star, the VAR checked and decided not to give a penalty to the home side.
Bournemouth leads the encounter by an early goal in the first 5 seconds of the game through Philip Billing amid lousy defending from Arteta’s men.
Arsenal have been fighting desperately to get back into the game, however the Table Topers were felt a big blow as Leandro Trossard was substituted in the 22nd minutes after picking up an injury.
Emile Smith Rowe replaced the 27 year old, he’s been lively alongside Fabio Vieira who was also denied a penalty during the game.
Alas, there is no penalty awarded. It looks like they feel Fabio Vieira is at fault and caused the Bournemouth player to foul his hand.
The potential of Fabio Vieira is so tantalizing. Can’t wait to see what he becomes as he continues to settle into top level football.
The handball was more or less because the ball hit the sleeve so it’s the no-handball section of the upper arm.
The problem with the Tomiyasu one is that not one Arsenal player protested which would make even the VAR guy not want to make a fuss and just take the safe decision.
Both penalty calls look ridiculous but the Tomiyasu one is truly unbelievable, the premier league need to investigate the inconsistency
