BREAKING: Arsenal release official statement on William Saliba, after suffering a serious injury.

William Saliba suffered a serious injury before the match against Leeds.

For the Premier League match against Leeds on Saturday at the Emirates Stadium, the French international is expected to be absent for the Gunners.

Injuries will prevent William Saliba from playing against Leeds for Arsenal in the Premier League. London has a grasp of it. During the Gunners’ Europa League defeat to Sporting CP two and a half weeks ago, the Frenchman was compelled to leave the game.

He didn’t play in Crystal Palace’s subsequent Premier League match. Following that, the 21-year-old was compelled to leave the France squad for the break in international play.

The match against Leeds on Saturday at the Emirates will now be missed by him. When Saliba will rejoin the team is currently unknown.

Rob Holding is likely to take the Frenchman’s place in Arsenal’s defensive line. Prior to the break, Holding was called upon for the game against Palace and performed well in his first Premier League start of the year. Mikel Arteta backed his team to handle Saliba’s absence in a post-game interview.

The Spanishman said in his post-Palace press conference, “We hope Willy is going to be better news.”. “Once more, we will have to wait until tomorrow to get a better view.

“We lost players, including Mo Elneny for six to eight months, Thomas for 1.5 months, Alex Zinchenko for 1.5 months, and Gabi for 4 months. Eddie, Tomiyasu, and/or Saliba are now gone. Everyone must contribute a little more. It is public knowledge. Rob is a prime example of the additional effort we must make today if we hope to keep things at that level
